Hello Enjoy's "Hello Run" (my shortest post ever because I'm so tired that I feel drunk)

Kia ora!
I just handed in a massive composition portfolio that would have been roughly the size of Stewart Island, so I really don't feel like doing this.

So I'm going to write about what I do when I don't feel like doing things I have to do... which is dicking around on the internet playing HELLORUN

HelloRun is a fantastic game from 3D interactive design company "Hello Enjoy". The basic plot (and it is oh so basic) is that you're flying through some crazy spaceship looking thing whilst entering various gateways and dodging obstacles. BUT the cool twist, the dash of lime in your cranberry drank, the salt on your caramel etc, is that it is paired with this great song by Du Tonc called "Surging Memories" and with every drop in the music, the game speeds up. The lighting in the game is also paired with the drums which is really effective and helps you to know when it's going to speed up etc. So if you're a music student who hates themselves, this is definitely the game for you!

I've been wasting my life with HelloRun for approximately three years now and my technique seems to be working pretty good (I don't mean to boast, but I know what the last chorus sounds like). If you hold down the mouse you increase your speed, BUT you get double points. I usually hover in the middle and go up and down to avoid blocks and always head back to the middle. I hold down my mouse most of the time UNLESS I can hear that one of the drops is about to hit OR if I'm turning a corner and so far in the millions of hours I've wasted I've got a high score of about 250 which isn't amazing but hey, it's alright.

I was going to do art but I honestly couldn't be bothered because I was up till 2am doing composition. But next week I'll make something super cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (maybe)

Stay alive <3
